Bangladesh is one of the world's most densely populated countries and three million people are still living below the poverty line in Bangladesh where the economy is still not fully industrialized. The low-lying country is vulnerable to flooding and cyclones, and stands to be badly affected by any rises in sea levels.

Natural or human-made disasters, poverty, migration and other challenges are a fact of life for many people in various parts of the world today and Bangladesh is one of them. Billions of people in the world in general are very fortunate to be living in the countries that are not only developed but is also harmonious, peaceful in diverse fields.

However, whilst enjoying the blessings of this prosperity and development, capable people from the developed and even from the developing countries need to also reach out and help others who may not be so fortunate, whether they be across of the world.

Global Philanthropic Planet (GPP) Foundation is a non-profit humanitarian and educational aid relief organisation (NGO) under the process to be registered in the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, dedicated to providing humanitarian services, educational opportunities, and relief in crisis and non-crisis situations to most needy poor, orphans, widows and destitute, irrespective of race, religion, culture, creed and geographical boundary.
